A tale of 2 scripts. 2002 and 1984.
I know, I know. This is already my third post about Confederacy of Dunces. I just can't get enough of it. Further browsing brought me to a FilmJerk review from 2002 of a Confederacy of Dunces script. Scavenging the interwebs, I was able to find a draft of said script. It's 128 pages and begins much like Will Ferrell was described to have begun the staged reading in 2003.

Upon researching A Confederacy of Dunces, I became aware of the fact that there have been numerous attempts to bring John Kennedy Toole's novel to the big screen.
While I realize most film adaptations of books suck, perhaps it is because of the time that I spent in New Orleans (the story takes place in the city) and my amusement in the text that makes me wish they would bring Ignatius' inflated ego into cinemas and a bootleg DVD near me.
